What is BGFC? Birthday Gift For Christ is a signature ministry of St. Matthew's UMC. Also, this ministry is an unbudgeted activity of St. Matthew's.

During the Christmas season the members of St. Matthew's sponsor Christmas gifts and dinners for 60-75 needy families. Said another way; St. Matthew's members share the blessings Christ has given us with those needing a helping hand during the month we celebrate the Savior's birthday.

Mary Hagg will lead the 'festivals' this year. 

On St. Nick Sunday (Dec. 2nd), we bring new, unwrapped toys and teenage gifts and place them at the Alter.

On Wrap Night (Dec. 12th), we wrap and sort a few thousand 'Birthday' gifts.

On Delivery Day (Dec. 15th), we deliver most of the gift packages.
