At St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, we believe that disaster response is a vital part of living out our faith both locally and globally. 

When disaster strikes, it is our responsibility as Christians to be the hands and feet of Christ, bringing relief, hope, and compassion to those in need. 

In 2024, we trained a dedicated disaster response team equipped to respond effectively and faithfully in times of crisis. However, the need is great, and we would love to build a larger team to ensure we are ready to answer the call whenever and wherever it comes. 

Whether it's responding to storms in our community or providing aid to global disasters, your participation can make a real difference. Join us as we seek to serve God by serving others in their time of greatest need. Together, we can be a beacon of hope in the midst of life's storms.
